My research focus for the past three years has been on creating work that can support a community, promote positivity, shed light on an untold story, foster friendships, and elevate existing landscapes. I utilize large-scale typography, illustration, and color to communicate a variety of emotions and engage the viewer through positivity, humor, wit, and self reflection—on exterior and interior surfaces, walls, and dimensional objects. These are all problem-solving opportunities for me as a designer, and an exciting and grandiose way of communicating a message and impacting the audience by providing a visual experience within their immediate environment.
